Adjacent to this site, a stop on the Underground Railway, was the home of Lucrecia Mott, a Civil War suffragist, for whom the town LaMott is named.

Mr. Hanes of Elkins Park, a 30-year resident of Montgomery County, is a student and connoisseur of American History. He has lectured on the Civil War in Philadelphia at the Union League and at the Grand Army of the Republic ~ Art Museum and Library

This is a free event.

Donations will be accepted.
