LaMott - A Homeowner's Dream?

It seems that there is a lot of interest in our little area! Here is an excerpt from some mail that I received about this area:

We have getting so many requests for information about this neighborhood that we have decided to put together a newsletter to update everyone.

Adjacent to this site, a stop on the Underground Railway, was the home of Lucrecia Mott, a Civil War suffragist, for whom the town LaMott is named.

Mr. Hanes of Elkins Park, a 30-year resident of Montgomery County, is a student and connoisseur of American History. He has lectured on the Civil War in Philadelphia at the Union League and at the Grand Army of the Republic ~ Art Museum and Library

This is a free event.

Donations will be accepted.

Refreshments will be served.
