Hurricane Jeanne - Rain

We must be having the remnants of hurricane Jeanne in our area now. It's been raining since late last night. The heavier rain started later this morning and there are flood watches in effect.

There's a "nip" in the air!

It was so cold last night! Had to shut the windows. The heater kicked on as well. I never thought it would get cooler this soon! Soon I'll be raking leaves! The heater is on again tonight - I just can't believe it!

Fall officially starts this upcoming Wednesday!

Happy Labor Day!

The weather was (or should I say is) cooler than normal for this time of the year. Wish I could have been celebrating but I have been catching up on some work.

The students have been moving into the dorm over at Tyler Art School. I've heard someone playing drums and they have been playing their music loud too. Plus there's the ever pleasant noise of car doors slamming as they move in.

Sometimes they have become a bit of a problem parking in front of people's driveways. I'm told the police have talked to them about it but.................
